Witnesses Sandra & Meindert

We got to know these two special men when we came to live next to them on the Oranjestraat in Arnhem, 19 years ago. At that point just the two of us, now the four of us. Con and I were both “in between jobs” and we both wondered why the neighbor was at home so often? A coffee date was quickly scheduled. From that initial coffee the step to drinking wine was the next obvious step. Fortunately our men also matched. So the four of us continued drinking coffee and wines. Our days and evenings were increasingly filled with eating together, drinking together, living together, good conversations, long evenings the gardens and above all, lots of laughter! ” A kind of community” was sometimes said, walking in and out of each others houses and gardens all day long. What a special time that was and what a lot of memories were made together.

To be asked as witnesses also feels very special to us. We have established a connection for life on the Oranjestraat. Whether we live in Arnhem, Deest or Apeldoorn. You feel like family to us and our two girls, your family even feels like our own family! The six of us shared so many wonderful and unfortunately sad moments with each other. You are always there for us and we are always there for you. We consider it a great honor to be so close to you as witnesses, in celebrating your love for each other.
